i commend such work... as i try to immerse in indian culture, i realize how simple life can be in such a complicated world... and for the very same reason, many women also remain unnamed...to you, Pachaiyamma, this day is dedicated :)... thanks to this ode...

In many countries women and their contribution to society are not recognised. It is a good thing to acknowledge even one.

Thank you, both! I wrote it because I feel there is no one to acknowledge the woman's work and commitment to my father and our family. When I visit my father I get upset that my dad makes a fuss about punctuality, especially when she is so reliable otherwise. But dad is a stickler for time and he's principled and I cannot blame him, I suppose...
